A passionate healer, feminist, and LGBTQ activist, I am committed to fostering positive change in our community. I co-founded Madre Tierra, a Latina Women Organization that empowers and supports Latina women and immigrants in the Virginia, D.C., and Maryland region. My dedication extends to creating spaces of linguistic justice for non-dominant languages, while humbly acknowledging my monolingualism in the colonial language of Spanish. Como mujer inmigrante latina del pueblo Lenca en Honduras, abrazo con orgullo mi herencia e identidad. Soy una sanadora apasionada, feminista y activista LGBTQ, comprometida a fomentar un cambio positivo en nuestra comunidad. Junto con otros, fundé Madre Tierra, una organización de mujeres latinas que empodera y apoya a mujeres e inmigrantes en las áreas de Virginia, D.C. y Maryland. Mi dedicación se extiende a crear espacios de justicia lingüística para lenguas no dominantes, reconociendo humildemente mi monolingüismo en el idioma colonial del español. Juntos, hagamos la diferencia y construyamos un mundo más inclusivo.
